This tasting session explores the range of French wine through six examples, including both red and white styles. Wines from iconic and lesser-known appellations are selected to illustrate the variety associated with France, whose wine heritage includes internationally recognised grapes such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc. The session considers how these wines represent the diversity and quality found across the country.
