About this course
The course examines how wine-producing countries outside Europe have developed distinctive styles and reputations. Across the programme, participants taste 25 wines, including Chilean Carmenere, Argentinian Torrontés and South African Pinotage, alongside examples from other regions and grape varieties. Teaching combines guided tasting with informal discussion and opportunities to ask questions about the wines. The course also covers where the wines can be bought and suggests food pairings for the examples tasted.
