About this course
The course introduces writing for children aged five to 15, using examples from published works to examine contemporary children’s writing and age-appropriate style. Learners develop story ideas through independent writing, group discussion and feedback, with tutor input supporting work on plotting, planning, characterisation, description and dialogue.
