About this course
The course examines how to find and develop ideas for print and online outlets, assess what makes a feature commercially viable, and plan articles for different markets. Participants work on research methods, interview preparation, audience engagement and approaches to selling articles. Teaching combines group discussion, handouts, short writing tasks and verbal feedback on writing where time allows. Learners are encouraged to work through editorial decisions and practise the techniques introduced in class.
