About this course

The course combines classroom teaching with guided wine tasting and independent online study. Participants examine how vineyard and winemaking decisions affect a wine’s style, quality and price, and consider wines from major producing regions worldwide, including light, sparkling and fortified styles. Teaching also covers food and wine matching and wine-label interpretation. Tasting practice follows the WSET Systematic Approach to Tasting, while the included online portal provides video lessons, quizzes, mock exams, flashcards, maps and diagrams to support revision for the theory and blind-tasting examination.
