Acting for Camera: Saturdays

About this course

The course uses Meisner technique to examine truthful engagement, active listening, observation and collaboration in screen performance. Participants work with scripts and explore how voice, movement and presence can be adapted for the camera, including staying present across multiple takes. Teaching also considers the differences between stage acting and film and television performance, with practical camera techniques forming part of the class work.
