Classes examine how actors can work truthfully and with greater nuance in front of the camera. Participants develop practical approaches for staying present across multiple takes, while exploring detailed, collaborative script preparation informed by Meisner technique. Voice and movement exercises are used alongside camera work, with attention to the demands of film and television performance and collaboration on set.

Is this course right for you?

This course is intended for experienced actors who are already confident performing for film and television and want to develop their screen technique further. The advanced level indicates work beyond fundamental acting skills, with collaborative participation in script preparation and camera exercises.

• Selection is by application.
• Applicants need either three professional screen acting credits or equivalent screen acting training of at least one year.
• Participants must be over 18.
• Fluent, confident use and knowledge of English is required.
