Greek Beginners Stage 2

About this course

The course introduces essential Greek for everyday exchanges. Participants practise recognising Greek letters, spelling their names, reading and writing simple words and sentences, introducing themselves and understanding a basic reply. Teaching combines role-play, listening activities and structured speaking and writing practice. Vocabulary and grammar are introduced alongside exploration of Greek culture and traditions, with progress monitored through classroom activities and observation.

What you'll learn

• Recognise Greek alphabet letters and use them to spell a name
• Read and write simple Greek words and sentences
• Introduce oneself and understand a simple response
• Recognise and use the present tense in a basic sentence

Is this course right for you?

The course is intended for complete beginners as well as learners with some existing knowledge of Greek who want to continue developing their skills. The Beginner (A1) label indicates an introductory level, and participation includes role-play, listening tasks and structured practice.

• Regular attendance is recommended for continued language practice
