Greek Level 4 | Evenings

About this course

The course develops Greek for everyday situations including shopping at a kiosk or bakery, ordering in a cafeteria, going for coffee and describing people at a party. Language work covers definite and indefinite articles, nominative and accusative forms, demonstrative, interrogative and relative pronouns, adjectives, likes and dislikes, and past and future forms of key verbs such as “to go” and “to be”. Vocabulary includes food products, money, quantities, large numbers and descriptions of people and objects. Lessons are supported by summaries, notes, resources and study guidance from Greek language teachers.

Is this course right for you?

This Elementary (A2) course is intended for learners who have already studied Greek. The stated entry route is completion of Greek Level 3 or a course comprising at least 36 class hours, so it is not designed for complete beginners.

• Previous Greek study is required, through Level 3 or at least 36 class hours.

Before you go

• The coursebook Πες το Ελληνικά Α1-Α2: Μέθοδος εκμάθησης της Ελληνικής ως Δεύτερης Γλώσσας, chapters 7–8, is required and should be purchased after the first lesson.
