About this course

Participants examine the foundations of performance improvisation through exercises, games and scene work. The course introduces the “yes, and” principle, collaborative responses and ways of developing improvised stories. It also considers the structures that can shape improvised performances and the different directions they may take. Learning combines practical activities with exploration of improvisation as a performance form.
