About this course
The course consolidates Japanese plain forms and develops casual-style conversation across everyday topics. Lessons introduce ways to express obligations, reasons, thoughts, possibilities and plans, including plans with conditions or over a period of time. Participants also study direct and indirect speech and add 25 Kanji to their existing knowledge. Teaching includes recap and warm-up practice, structured grammar work, conversation activities, review and presentations.

Is this course right for you?
This course is intended for learners developing beyond fundamental Japanese, with a foundation in Hiragana, Katakana and basic Kanji, plus vocabulary of 500 or more words. Participation includes conversational practice across daily topics and presentations.
