About this course
The course develops Japanese grammar and communication through recap work, casual-style conversations on daily subjects, and review presentations. Learners practise hypothetical forms, describing results, expressing suppositions and impressions, and discussing continuation and present perfect continuous actions. Direct and indirect speech are introduced alongside verbs expressing emotion. The course also adds 25 kanji, bringing the stated total covered to 100.

Is this course right for you?
The course is intended for learners who already have a good foundation in Hiragana, Katakana and basic Kanji, together with a vocabulary of more than 600 words. Participation involves conversational practice and presentations, so learners should be prepared to use Japanese actively in these formats.
