About this course
The course begins with an introduction to Hangeul and develops learners’ ability to read, write and pronounce Korean. Later lessons address self-introductions, phone numbers, describing positions, daily commutes and other everyday situations, including shopping and getting around. Grammar includes the Korean copula, subject and object particles, polite sentence endings, location expressions, conjunctions, number systems and unit nouns. The course is organised into a sequence of lessons that moves from the writing system towards basic communication and sentence construction.
