About this course
The course develops basic Korean communication around personal background, daily routines, places, food, dates, days of the week, weather and seasons. Participants also discuss weekend activities and make or suggest plans. Grammar work includes native Korean numbers, unit nouns, the particles 에 and 에서, the past tense -았/었, irregular ㅂ conjugation, -고 싶다 for expressing wants and -(을)까요? for suggestions. Lessons include topic practice, review units and presentations, with the final session bringing together the material covered.

This course is intended for learners who already have a foundation in Hangeul and around 100 Korean vocabulary items. The Beginner (A1) label indicates an early stage of language learning, but the stated starting knowledge places the course beyond the absolute beginner stage.
