About this course
The course introduces core Meisner principles, including responding to stimuli, observation and active listening. Participants use these ideas to explore truthful responses and connection in scenes, with voice, movement and scene-study classes supporting the central practice. Emotional responses are approached through the imagination rather than personal experiences, while the work involves a degree of openness. The course is delivered through weekday evening classes across two weeks.

It is not an introduction to acting, so participants are expected to have attended acting workshops or another acting-training setting. The work requires emotional openness and confident, fluent English, and is for participants over 18.
