About this course
The course introduces the core principles of Meisner technique, with exercises focused on responding to stimuli, close observation and active listening. Participants apply these principles to scene work and explore how actors can create connections in performance. Voice, movement and scene study classes complement the Meisner practice. The approach asks participants to use imagination rather than personal experience when developing emotional responses, while engaging with the openness required by the work.
