About this course
The course extends learners’ Modern Greek vocabulary and introduces more complex language structures through spoken interaction, pair and group work, role play, games, dialogues and real-life scenarios. Topics include weather, travel planning, wishes and describing past experiences. Grammar work covers ordinal numbers, regular and irregular future forms, irregular nouns and an introduction to reported speech. Learners practise speaking, listening, reading and writing through presentations, hand-outs and audio-visual resources, including tasks such as booking a holiday, writing about a trip and reporting an incident.

This course is intended for learners at Elementary (A2) level who have completed Modern Greek 2 upper: module 1, studied Greek for around two years recently, or have equivalent knowledge. Classes involve spoken interaction, pair and group work, role play and other interactive activities.
