About this course
The course develops Greek communication through pair and group work, role plays, games, presentations, hand-outs and audio-visual resources. Participants practise speaking, listening, reading and writing while discussing work and study, entertainment, personal history, Greek food and recipes, and customs associated with Greek Easter. Language work includes the past tense, simple subjunctive and imperative forms, adverbs of frequency, and revision of active verbs in the present, past simple and future tenses. Homework is recommended to consolidate classroom learning.

This course is intended for learners who have completed Modern Greek 2 lower module 1 or have equivalent recent experience, stated as at least one year of study. The pre-intermediate (A2+) level indicates continued development beyond basic communication. Lessons involve spoken interaction, pair work, group work, role plays and games.

- Learners should be prepared to participate in pair and group activities
- Homework is highly recommended between classes
