About this course
The workshop introduces Alexander Technique through exercises focused on posture, breath and coordinating the body with ease. Participants examine physical habits that may create tension and explore the relationship between mind, body and voice. The course also considers how the technique can be used in daily life and by actors in performance, auditions and public speaking. It includes strategies for easing performance and audition anxiety.

The course is intended for people interested in Alexander Technique, including creatives and actors working with tension in performance, auditions or public speaking. Some experience in an acting class environment is required, but previous Alexander Technique experience is not. Participants must be over 18 and use English fluently and confidently.
