About this course

The course introduces a range of pottery processes, including hand building, wheel throwing, surface decoration and glazing. Its structure gives each week a different technical focus, while allowing time for individual practice and experimentation with clay. Participants can set their own pace within the class, using the sessions either to develop existing making skills or to explore unfamiliar techniques. The teaching is organised around practical demonstrations and studio time across the different areas covered.
