About this course
The course introduces a range of pottery processes, including hand building, wheel throwing, surface decoration and glazing. Each session focuses on a different technique, while allowing time to practise and experiment with clay. Participants can set their own pace, whether they want to concentrate on developing skills or explore unfamiliar methods. The teaching is structured around weekly themes, with practice time forming an important part of the class.

Before you go
- Materials are provided, including buff stoneware clay, tools, slips, moulds and studio glazes.
- Clay is charged by the kilogram for pieces that participants want fired.
- Participants should wear clothes that can get dirty.
- An apron may be brought or purchased separately.
