33 public speaking classes in London

If you are completely new to communication training, start with a beginner public speaking class, presentation skills course or confidence-focused communication workshop. These classes are usually designed for adults who want to become clearer, calmer and more confident when speaking in front of other people.

Choose public speaking if you want to become more comfortable speaking in front of a group. Choose presentation skills if you need to speak better at work, pitch ideas, lead meetings or present slides. Choose storytelling if you want to structure ideas more clearly, sound more engaging and connect better with an audience. For most beginners, public speaking or presentation skills is the safest first step.

Look for a communication taster, public speaking workshop, one-day presentation skills course or beginner-friendly confidence class. These are usually better than a long course if you want to try communication training without committing to several weeks.

Yes. Many communication classes are designed for people who feel nervous speaking in front of others. A good beginner class should help you practise speaking in a supportive setting, organise your thoughts, use your voice more clearly and become more comfortable being seen and heard.

Communication skills classes usually focus on practical tools such as structure, clarity, voice, body language, listening, storytelling and audience connection. Confidence classes may focus more on nerves, presence, self-expression and becoming more comfortable in social or professional situations.
